STAX Music Academy inspires young people and enhances their academic, cognitive, performance, and leadership skills by utilizing music with an intense focus on the rich legacy and tradition of STAX Records. 

Discipline, musicianship, and solid technique are taught by an incredible staff of educators and seasoned professionals. In addition to our full and part-time staff of educators, students often participate in workshops and master classes with GRAMMY-winning artists, former Stax Records artists, and other music industry professionals that share their time, experience, talent, and expertise.

In addition to exceptional music instruction, students are provided college-prep courses, life and professional skill building workshops, family resources, and life-on-life mentorship. As a result students are transformed into the next generation of Soul Communicators, holistically equipped to excel in life and impact the world through music.
