Jackie is a native of Detroit, MI who has lived and worked in Memphis, TN since October 2001. She graduated from Christian Brothers University in 1996 with a degree in Psychology/Sociology and from Thomas Jefferson School of Law (San Diego, CA) in 1999 with a degree in law. In San Diego, she worked in the Public Defender’s Office and City Attorney’s Office, as well as several private law firms.

Prior to becoming the Operations Manager for the Academy, Jackie spent two years as a consultant for local businesses and organizations in Memphis. She contracted much of her work with Consilience Group, a Memphis consulting firm specializing in strategic assessment/planning and solution design/implementation. Her clients included the Memphis & Shelby County Juvenile Court, Assisi Foundation, RISE Foundation, Memphis Center City Commission, and other community organizations. Working with these groups helped prepare her to be an integral part of the Soulsville mission.
